What does responsible gaming mean on HHDD?

Online gaming, when enjoyed responsibly, is a fantastic form of entertainment. However, when it spirals out of control, it can have a serious negative impact on your personal, family, and financial life.

HHDD takes this matter very seriously. Responsible gaming means treating it as entertainment, not a source of income; staying within a set budget; and seeking help when needed.

HHDD is committed to ensuring every member enjoys a safe gaming environment on our platform. We care about more than just profit — our members' wellbeing matters to us. That's why HHDD offers a range of responsible gaming tools to help you stay in control of your gaming habits.

HHDD's Commitment: We want you to enjoy gaming, not be harmed by it. At the first sign of any gambling-related issue, we are ready to step in and help.

Core Principles of Responsible Gaming

Keep these principles in mind for responsible gaming on HHDD:

Gaming Is for Entertainment — Not a Source of Income

What you'll find on HHDD to help you stay in control of your gaming habits

Deposit Limit

On HHDD, you can set your own daily, weekly, or monthly deposit limits. Once a limit is in place, the system enforces it automatically. Lowering a limit takes effect immediately; increasing one requires a 24-hour waiting period.

Session Time Limit

If you play for an extended period, HHDD will automatically display a reminder. You can also set a maximum session duration; once that time is up, your session will end automatically and you'll need to log back in.

Cooling-Off Period

Feeling like you need a break? HHDD's cooling-off feature lets you temporarily suspend your account for anywhere from 24 hours to 6 weeks. You won't be able to log in during this period, but your account will not be deleted.

Self-Exclusion

If you feel gaming is having a negative impact on your life, consider self-exclusion. You can close your account for 6 months to 5 years, or permanently. Reopening your account during the exclusion period is not possible.

Set a Loss Limit

On HHDD, you can activate an automatic session stop once you reach a set loss amount. When that threshold is hit, your session ends — helping you avoid chasing losses.

Gaming History & Activity Insights

On HHDD you can view your complete gaming history — including total time played, deposits and withdrawals, and wins or losses. This information is invaluable for understanding your own habits.

Recognize the Warning Signs

Gaming problems don't always appear overnight. Warning signs tend to develop gradually. If you notice any of the following, it's time to seek help:

  • Placing larger bets after a loss in an attempt to win back money.
  • You want to stop gaming but can't, or keep trying and failing.
  • You can't stop thinking about gaming.
  • You are hiding your gaming from family or lying about it.
  • Gaming is causing you to neglect work, studies, or family responsibilities.
  • You feel restless, irritable, or anxious when you're not gaming.
  • You're taking on debt or draining your savings to fund gaming.
  • You find no enjoyment in everyday activities — only in gaming.

If you recognise 2 or more of the above signs, please contact HHDD Support or speak to someone you trust.

Check Yourself

Quick Self-Assessment

Ask yourself the following questions. If you answer "Yes" to several, please seek help:

Am I spending more than my budget on gaming?
Am I placing bigger bets to try to win back what I've lost?
Am I struggling to control how much time I spend gaming?
Have I been dishonest with family or friends about my gaming?
Is gaming affecting my work or studies?
Do I feel restless or anxious when I'm not gaming?

If you answered "Yes" to 3 or more questions, please contact HHDD support or consider self-exclusion.

Tips for Healthy Gaming Habits

Follow these tips for a long-term, enjoyable gaming experience on HHDD

💰
Set Your Budget in Advance

Set your monthly gaming budget before you start playing. This should come out of your entertainment allowance — kept separate from your essential living expenses.

Stick to Your Time Limits

Before you start a session, decide how long you'll play. Set an alarm on your phone. When time is up, stop — you can always come back tomorrow.

🎯
Accept Losses as Part of the Game

Losing is a normal part of gaming. Casino games carry a house edge over the long run. Think of losses as the cost of entertainment, not a problem to be solved.

🛑
Know When to Stop

Know when to walk away with your winnings. After a win, it's tempting to keep playing for more — but in most cases, continuing to play means giving those winnings back.

😌
Don't Play Under Stress

Avoid gaming when you are upset, tired, or under stress. Your judgment is impaired in these states, increasing the risk of overspending.

👨‍👩‍👧
Let Your Family Know

Be open with your family about your gaming rather than hiding it. When they're aware, they can help you stay within healthy limits.

Responsible Gaming FAQs

Reducing a limit takes effect immediately. However, when increasing a limit, HHDD applies a 24-hour waiting period — this is intentional, to prevent impulsive decisions.

Once a fixed-term self-exclusion ends, you may return to HHDD, though the reinstatement process takes 7 days. For permanent exclusion, the account cannot be reopened.

Contact HHDD's support team directly. We investigate accounts based on reports from family members and take appropriate action. We also encourage you to have an open conversation with your loved one and support them in seeking professional help.

Yes. Before self-exclusion takes effect, you will be given the opportunity to withdraw any eligible balance in your account. Bonus balances may be forfeited. Please contact support for further details.

Yes. HHDD's system monitors unusual gaming patterns — such as sudden spikes in session length, large losses, or frequent deposits. If anything raises concern, the support team will reach out and offer assistance.
